Comment:Geomagnetic G1 activity was observed on 03-Mar in the
Australian region due to a CME/solar filament eruption on 28-Feb,
which was modelled to arrive on 02-Mar. Smaller variations in the
solar wind are thought to be associated with the weak impulse
activity on 07-Mar. No activity geomagnetic followed these impulses.
2. FORECAST (08 MARCH - 14 MARCH)
Solar: R0-R1. Solar region AR3599(S12E02) is growing and
R1 flare activity is becoming more likely.
Geomagnetic:G1 periods are possible during on 9-10 Mar. G0
conditions are expected on other days of the week.
Frequencies: MUFs may be briefly depressed after local dawn
on 9-10 Mar for the southern Australian region if geomagnetic
activity eventuates. MUFs are expected to be near predicted monthly
values on other days.
