Predicted Monthly T index for July: 104

Comment: MUFs in the Australian region were typically
15-30% depressed at times during the week. Ionospheric
spread F was frequently observed during local night
hours, indicating degraded local night HF communications
quality. Reduced solar flare activity was observed this
week with an isolated R1 flare on 08-Jul due to a new
solar region.

2. FORECAST (09 JULY - 15 JULY)
MUFS: Generally 15-20% depressed during the week, with
degraded conditions during local night hours.

Propagation conditions: Fair on 9-10 Jul particularly
during local night hours. Otherwise fair to normal.
Isolated SWFs possible during the week due to a new solar
region currently rotating onto the solar disk.

T index: 104

3. OUTLOOK (16 JULY - 15 AUGUST)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
22-24 Jul, 31-Jul to 02-Aug

PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
