On UT day 20-Mar solar flare activity is expected to be R0. S0 solar
radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is
expected to be initially light then becoming strong due to anticipated
CME arrivals. The forecast CME arrival and subsequent geomagnetic G2
storm activity expected from late in the UT day on 19-Mar has not yet
eventuated. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be initially at G0,
then increasing to G1-G2 with two CME shocks now expected to arrive on
20-Mar. HF radio propagation conditions are expected to be initially
normal, becoming fair to poor late in the UT day for the southern
Australian region. Maximum usable frequencies in the Australian region
are expected to be mostly near predicted values, becoming 15-20%
depressed late in the UT day (after local dawn 21-Mar).
