On UT day 19-Mar solar flare activity is expected to be R0-R1. S0
solar radiation storm conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is
expected to be initially moderate then becoming strong due to an
anticipated CME arrival later in the UT day on 19-Mar. Geomagnetic
conditions are expected to be initially at G0, then increasing to
G1-G2. A second CME arrival is expected on 20-Mar extending G1-G2
geomagnetic activity. HF radio propagation conditions are expected to
be initially normal, becoming fair to poor late in the UT day for the
southern Australian region. Maximum usable frequencies in the
Australian region are expected to be mostly near predicted values,
becoming 15-20% depressed late in the UT day (after local dawn
20-Mar).
