Solar activity on UT day 16-Oct is expected to be at R1-R2 levels. S0
solar radiation storm conditions are expected, with a chance of S1.
The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate to light. G1
geomagnetic conditions are expected, with a chance of G2 due to two
CME arrivals in the second half of the UT day. HF radio propagation
conditions are expected to be initially normal, tending to fair later
in the day. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian region
are expected to be generally near predicted monthly values. Shortwave
fadeouts are probable.
