Solar activity on UT day 10-Sep is expected to be at the R1 level,
with a chance of R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be initially
light, increasing to moderate toward the end of the UT day due to the
anticipated arrival of a CME. An S1-Minor solar radiation storm is in
progress with impacts restricted to high latitude/polar region HF
communication. G0 geomagnetic conditions are initially expected, with
G1 periods possible toward the end of the UT day. G1, chance G2
conditions are expected for 11-Sep. HF radio communication conditions
are expected to be normal to fair. Polar region HF communications may
experience increased absorption today. Maximum usable frequencies
(MUFs) are generally expected to be initially 15% enhanced, declining
to near predicted monthly values late in the UT day. Shortwave
fadeouts are possible.
