Solar activity on UT day 04-Oct is expected to be at R1-R2 levels with
a chance for isolated, impulsive R3-R4 flare events. The solar wind
speed is expected to be moderate to strong. G0 geomagnetic conditions
are expected until an anticipated CME impact after which G3
conditions, with a chance of G4 are expected. S0 solar radiation storm
conditions are expected with a chance for S1. Maximum usable
frequencies for HF are expected to be near predicted values to 15%
enhanced, with mild depressions possible in the second half of the UT
day. HF radio communication conditions are expected to be normal, with
degradations possible at the end of the UT day. Shortwave fadeouts are
probable.
