Solar activity on UT day 11-May is expected to be at R2-R3 levels. A
CME shock was observed in the solar wind at 10/1637UT. The solar wind
environment is currently very enhanced. The solar wind speed is
expected to be very strong. There is currently a sequence of CMEs
heading toward the Earth and further CME arrivals are expected. G4,
with chance of G5 geomagnetic storm conditions are expected on 11-May.
An S2 solar proton event is in progress and is currently declining,
just above teh S1 level. S0-S1 solar radiation conditions are
expected. HF radio communication conditions are expected to be very
poor. Maximum usable frequencies are expected to be depressed 40-50%.
Frequent shortwave fadeouts are expected.
