Solar activity on UT day 28-Aug is expected to be at the R1 level,
with a chance of R2. A previously flare active solar region is
returning to the solar disk. A CME shock was observed in the solar
wind mildly enhancing solar wind conditions, with the interplanetary
magnetic field currently orientated southwards. The solar wind speed
is expected to be light. G1 geomagnetic conditions are expected early
in the UT day then declining to G0. HF radio communication conditions
are expected to be fair to normal. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs)
are expected to be near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced.
Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
