Three new sunspot groups have appeared on the visible solar disk. Two
of these are located on the eastern limb and may develop in coming
days. For now, solar activity has been very low and is expected to
remain low during the next 24 hours. A high speed solar wind stream is
still expected to impact Earth today. However, at this stage, it is
not likely to be an especially strong enhancement and will only lead
to minor geomagnetic activity. A major coronal hole is located in the
Northern Hemisphere and is approaching the central meridian of the
solar disk. High-frequency radio communications have been depressed at
low latitudes and near normal at mid latitudes and are expected to
remain close to monthly predictions.
