SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/42
ISSUED AT 0519UT/04 JULY 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A CME that was launched from the Sun on 30-Jun arrived on 3-Jul. 
It was produced prolonged southward Bz solar wind conditions, 
which have resulted in brief periods of G3. As further CME arrivals 
are expected later in the UT day, further periods of G3 are possible. 
Enhanced conditions are expected to continue into 5-Jul.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
