SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/41
ISSUED AT 0426UT/04 JULY 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A CME launched from the Sun on 30-Jul arrived at Earth from 11:19 
UT on 3-Jul. This has since produced prolonged periods of southward 
solar wind Bz conditions, producing G2 geomagnetic conditions. 
G1-G2 geomagnetic conditions are likely to persist through the 
day. By the end of the UT day 4-Jul further CME arrivals are 
expected, prolonging enhanced conditions into 5-Jul.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
