SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/08
ISSUED AT 0419UT/21 JANUARY 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

Geomagnetic storm conditions are expected to continue over 21-22 
Jan due to ongoing effects from the arrival of a halo CME on 
UT day 19-Jan. G2-G3 geomagnetic conditions are expected for 
the remainder of 21-Jan, decreasing to G1 geomagnetic conditions 
on 22-Jan, with a chance of G2.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
