SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/07
ISSUED AT 2126UT/19 JANUARY 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A strong solar wind shock was observed at 19/1858UT, indicative 
of the arrival of a halo CME first observed on 18-Jan. G4 planetary 
geomagnetic conditions have been observed. G3 geomagnetic conditions 
have been observed in the Australian region. G4 planetary geomagnetic 
conditions are expected, with a chance of G5.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
