SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 25/97
ISSUED AT 2258UT/06 DECEMBER 2025
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A halo CME was associated with an M8 solar flare event from sunspot 
region 4299, which has previously produced significant Earth-directed 
CMEs in November. This event is expected to cause planetary G3 
geomagnetic conditions early on UT day 9-Dec.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
