ISSUED AT 2302UT/27 AUGUST 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

The north-south component of the interplanetary magnetic field 
has become increasing southward following a slow glancing blow 
CME arrival at 28/0735UT. G1 periods are likely early in the 
UT on 28-Aug if southward IMF conditions persist.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
FOR 28 AUGUST 2024
