COMMENT: Solar activity on UT day 14-Jul was R0, with no solar 
flares. There are currently three numbered sunspot regions on 
the solar disk, although all visible regions are currently stable. 
Solar activity is expected to be R0 with a chance for R1 over 
15-17 Jul.

 No Earth directed CMEs were observed on UT day 14-Jul. 

S0 solar radiation storm conditions were observed on UT day 14-Jul. 
S0 solar radiation storm conditions are expected over 15-17 Jul. 

The solar wind environment on UT day 14-Jul was mildly disturbed, 
with a weak CME impact at 1438 UT. The solar wind speed ranged 
from 340 to 450 km/s. The peak total interplanetary field strength 
(IMF, Bt) was 14 nT and the north-south IMF component range (Bz) 
was +12 to -5 nT. The solar wind environment is expected to remain 
mildly disturbed on 15-Jul due to a second possible weak CME 
impact and a brief influence from a small coronal hole wind stream. 
The solar wind environment is expected to return to background 
conditions over 16-17 Jul.

COMMENT: G0 geomagnetic conditions were observed on UT day 14-Jul 
in the Australian and Antarctic regions. G0 geomagnetic conditions 
are expected over 15-17 Jul. A weak CME impact is possible on 
15-Jul but not expected to induce geomagnetic activity.

COMMENT: HF radio propagation conditions on UT day 14-Jul were 
mostly normal, with mild degradations during local dawn hours 
across the globe. HF radio propagation conditions are expected 
to be mostly normal over 15-17 Jul, with brief degradations possible 
during local dawn hours on 15-Jul.

COMMENT: Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian 
region on UT day 14-Jul were mostly near predicted values to 
15% depressed. Spread-F was common during local night hours in 
Brisbane, Darwin and Townsville. Heavily degraded HF propagation 
conditions were observed in Hobart during local night and dawn 
hours. MUFs are expected to be mostly near predicted values over 
15-17 Jul, with HF propagation conditions in Australian sites 
recovering to normal on 15-Jul.
