COMMENT: Solar flare activity was low during 25 Nov UT. The largest
flare was a long duration C1.9 flare peaking at 08:27 UT. The
2-day outlook is for weak C class flares. GONG H alpha observations
recorded a Disappearing Solar Filament (DSF) near the south west
limb during 03-05 UT and a filament eruption associated with
AR 2454 on the north west limb during 07 UT. SOHO LASCO observations
show coronal structures including a CME propagating toward the
WSW during 25 Nov. These structures are not Earthward directed.
The solar wind speed declined during 25 Nov and is presently
near 250 km/s. The magnitude of the IMF has been about 4 nT and
the Bz component predominantly northward.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 25 Nov :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)

      Melbourne NA

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.
