COMMENT: Solar activity was Low over the UT day, 03 October.
The largest flare was a C1.8-class X-ray flare occurring at 03/2023UT.
Expect Very Low to Low solar activity for the next three days.
The solar wind decreased from 580 to 400 km/s and is expected
remain at this level or slightly below for the next several days.
The Bz component of the interplanetary magnetic field was mostly
northward over the last 24 hours. Two CMEs were observed by LASCO
and STEREO imagery early in the UT day, 03 October, one to the
NW and the other to the SE neither are expected to be geoeffective.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 03 Oct :
      Darwin 2 (Quiet)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)

      Canberra 2 (Quiet)

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.

Estimated AFr/Ap Indices 03 Oct : A
           Fredericksburg 5
           Planetary 7

06 Oct 6 Quiet

COMMENT: IPS Geomagnetic Warning 27 was issued on 2 October and
is current for 2-4 Oct. Note CME arrived early, therefore geomagnetic
activity settled earlier than expected. The geomagnetic activity was
Quiet to Unsettled during the UT day, 03 October. Expect geomagnetic
activity to be mostly quiet for the next three days.
