Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3 indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3 indices for that station.

2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
19 Mar 16 Unsettled to active
20 Mar 24 Active
21 Mar 14 Unsettled to active
COMMENT: IPS Geomagnetic Warning 8 was issued on 16 March and
is current for interval 18-19 March. The CME observed on 15 March
did not lead to a geomagnetic storm as Bz remained northward.
Another partial halo CME,possibly from region 9866, was observed
around 0342 on 18 March. Another shock is expected to arrive
in the late hours of 19 March or early hours of 20 March. This
can raise the geomagnetic activity level to 'active' or 'isolated
minor storms'.
A moderate (56nT) impulse was observed in the IPS magnetomter
data at 1323UT on 18 Mar.
