1B. SOLAR FORECAST
             18 Mar 19 Mar 20 Mar
Activity Moderate Moderate Moderate
Fadeouts Possible Possible Possible
10.7cm/SSN 190/143 195/147 190/143
COMMENT: LASCO has reported a higher shock speed for the recent M2
flare/CME which would give an earlier shock arrival window of
06-19UT on 18 March. Solar region 9866 is decaying. The M4 event
was produced by solar region 9871 east of 9866. This region shows
slow growth and has further M class flare potential.

2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
18 Mar 25 active
19 Mar 40 Minor storm
20 Mar 13 Unsettled to Active
COMMENT: IPS Geomagnetic Warning 8 was issued on 16 March and
is current for interval 18-19 March. Geomagnetic storm conditions
are expected to begin second half of 18 March and into 19 March
from recent full halo mass ejection.

3A. GLOBAL HF PROPAGATION SUMMARY
	            Latitude Band
Date Low Middle High
17 Mar Normal Normal Normal
PCA Event : No event. Proton flux remains elevated.

3B. GLOBAL HF PROPAGATION FORECAST
	            Latitude Band
Date Low Middle High
18 Mar Fair Fair Fair-Poor
19 Mar Fair Fair-Poor Poor
20 Mar Normal Normal Normal-Fair
COMMENT: Generally degraded HF conditions expected late 18-19
March due to anticipated CME arrival. High latitude HF comms
may experience increased absorption due to elevated proton
flux.
