Solar activity on UT day 04-Jan is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
solar wind speed is expected to be moderate. G0 geomagnetic conditions
are expected, with a chance of G1 due to ongoing CME effects. S1 solar
proton conditions are expected. HF radio communication conditions are
expected to be mostly normal, with poor conditions at high latitudes
due to a polar cap absorption event. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs)
in the Australian region are expected to be near predicted monthly
values to 15% enhanced. Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
