Solar activity on UT day 05-Jan is expected to be at the R1 level,
with a chance of R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate.
G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected. S1 solar proton conditions are
expected. HF radio communication conditions are expected to be mostly
normal, with poor conditions at high latitudes due to a polar cap
absorption event. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian
region are expected to be near predicted monthly values. Shortwave
fadeouts are possible.
