On UT day 13-Feb solar activity is expected to be near R1-R2 with a
slight chance for R3. An S1-Minor solar radiation storm is in
progress. The solar wind speed is expected to become strong. G2,
chance G3 geomagnetic conditions are expected. HF radio communication
conditions are expected to be initially normal, becoming degraded by
the end of the UT day. Maximum usable frequencies are expected to be
mostly to near predicted values to 15% enhanced, with degraded and
depressed conditions expected for late 13/14-Feb. Antarctic region HF
communications are currently impacted by an S1-Minor solar radiation
storm. Isolated shortwave fadeouts expected.
