[ips-sf] ASWFC Summary Forecast for 17 November - issued 2316UT/16-Nov-2023 [SEC=OFFICIAL]

On UT day 17-Nov solar activity is expected to be R0. There is
currently no solar region of significance on the visible solar disk. A
new solar region is expected to rotate onto the solar disk today. The
solar wind speed is expected to be light to moderate. G0 geomagnetic
conditions are expected for 17-18 Nov, G1 conditions are expected
during 19-20 Nov due to recent CME activity associated with minor
solar filament eruptions. HF radio communication conditions are
expected to be normal for today. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are
expected to be near predicted monthly values. Shortwave fadeouts are
not expected. Mildly degraded HF conditions may be experienced during
local night hours 19-20 Nov for the southern Australian region.
