Solar activity on UT day 19-Jul is expected to be at the R1 level,
with a chance of R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate.
G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected on 19-Jul. G2-G3 conditions are
expected on 20-Jul and G1-G2 conditions with a chance of G3 are
expected on 21-Jul due to anticipated impacts from CMEs first observed
on 17-Jul and 18-Jul. An S1 proton event is currently ongoing and
there is a chance of an S2 event later in the UT day. Maximum usable
frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near predicted monthly values to
15% enhanced in the northern Australian region. HF communication
conditions are expected to be normal at mid to low latitudes and poor
at high latitudes. Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
