Solar activity on UT day 20-Jul is expected to be at the R1 level,
with a chance of R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate
to strong. G2-G3 geomagnetic conditions are expected due to the
anticipated arrival of a CME first observed on 17-Jul. An S1 proton
event is currently ongoing, with conditions expected to decline to S0
over the UT day. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be
near predicted monthly values. HF communication conditions are
expected to be normal at mid to low latitudes and poor at high
latitudes. Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
