Solar activity on UT day 11-Dec is generally expected to be at R0-R1
levels, with the chance of an isolated R2 flare. The solar wind speed
is expected to be initially light increasing to moderate due to a
coronal hole. G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected, with the coronal
hole wind stream inducing a mild increase in geomagnetic activity. HF
radio communication conditions are expected to be normal. Maximum
usable frequencies (MUFs) are generally expected to be near predicted
monthly values, with mild depressions possible after local dawn on
12-Dec for the southern Australian region. Isolated shortwave fadeouts
are possible.
