[ips-sf] ASWFC Summary Forecast for 20 August - issued 2312UT/19-Aug-2023 [SEC=OFFICIAL]

Solar activity on UT day 20-Aug is expected to be R0. The solar
regions currently on the visible solar disk are all minor. A narrow
north west directed CME associated with two small filament eruptions
may graze the Earths magnetosphere late on 22-Aug. The solar wind
speed is currently moderate and is expected to be initially moderate
declining to light. G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected. HF radio
communication conditions are expected to be mostly normal, with some
mild degradations possible during local night hours. Maximum usable
frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near predicted values to 15%
enhanced.
