Solar activity on UT day 19-Aug is expected to be R0, with a chance of
R1. A solar region that produced R1 activity on its previous disk
transit may return to the solar south east limb today. Two small solar
filaments located in the north west solar quadrant erupted late in the
UT day 18-Aug. A minor CME may follow this activity. The solar wind
speed is currently moderate and is expected to be initially moderate
declining to light. G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected. HF radio
communication conditions are expected to be mostly normal, with some
mild degradations possible during local night hours. Maximum usable
frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near predicted values to 20%
enhanced. Isolated minor HF fadeouts possible.
