Solar activity is expected to be at the R0 level over 03-05 Jul. The
solar wind speed is expected to mostly remain light. Unexpected mildly
disturbed geomagnetic conditions, briefly reaching ASWAS G1, were
observed overnight in the Australian region on 02 July, possibly from
a weak transient CME. G0 geomagnetic conditions are generally expected
for the period 03-05 Jul. However, there is a chance for further
enhanced solar wind conditions, and for geomagnetic conditions to
again possibly reach the ASWAS G1 level during the interval 03-04 Jul,
due to recent CME activity. Mildly degraded HF conditions were
observed overnight in association with the unexpected geomagnetic
activity. HF radio propagation conditions for southern Australian
region after local dawn this morning are mildly to moderately
depressed and degraded. Northern Australian regions are currently
mildly depressed with near normal HF conditions.
