Solar activity is expected to be at the R0 level over 04-06 Jul. The
solar wind speed is expected to mostly remain light. G0 geomagnetic
conditions are generally expected for the period 04-06 Jul. Enhanced
solar wind conditions from recent CMEs expected with low confidence
for 03 Jul, have not yet eventuated, and perhaps look less likely for
04-Jul. A coronal hole is expected to increase geomagnetic activity
from late 06-07 Jul, with isolated ASWAS G1 periods possible. HF radio
propagation conditions in the Australian region have been mildly
degraded during local night hours and after local dawn this morning,
which are not expected to persist with generally normal HF conditions
expected today. Looking further ahead, degraded HF conditions for
southern Australian region MUFs are expected from late 06-07 Jul due
to anticipated coronal hole wind stream induced activity.
