Solar activity on UT day 27-Dec is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
geomagnetic field was at G1 levels overnight and is expected to be at
G0-G1 levels for 27-Dec. The solar wind speed is expected to be
moderate to strong on 27-Dec due to a combination of a coronal hole
wind stream and a possible grazing impact from a recent CME.
Australian region maximum usable frequencies are expected to be 15%
depressed to near predicted monthly values. Isolated minor shortwave
fadeouts are possible.
