Unexpected geomagnetic activity observed on 26-Dec, with two periods
of ASWAS G1 on 26-Dec. Activity in association with elevated solar
wind speeds due to a coronal hole combined with a southward interval
of interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) conditions during
26/0600-1500UT. There is a chance of a further periods of G1 activity
on 27-Dec due to a weak coronal mass ejection arrival.
