Solar activity is expected to be at R1 levels over 17-Dec, with a
chance of R2 flaring. The region that has produced the recent frequent
flare activity will soon rotate off the solar disk over the southwest
solar limb. The solar wind speed is expected to be initially light,
with a possible mild increase to moderate during 17-19 Dec due to
coronal hole wind streams. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be
at the G0 levels. Australian regional maximum usable frequencies are
expected to be near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced.
Shortwave fadeouts are probable on 17-Dec.
