COMMENT: Solar activity was low on UT day 14 December with a
C4.0 flare at 1437 UT from AR2792 (S22E43) which is a Bxo/beta
group. A new region AR 2793 (S14E63) is an Axx/alpha group. Solar
activity is expected to be very low to low on 15-17 December.
There were no Earth directed CMEs observed in the available coronagraph
images. Available solar wind data shows solar wind parameters
at nominal levels, with speed less than 370 km/s, maximum total
IMF (Bt) of 5 nT and north-south IMF (Bz) range +2/-3 nT. The
solar wind is expected to be near its nominal levels for the
next three UT days, 15-17 December.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 14 Dec :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)

      Melbourne NA

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.
