10.7cm/SSN 70/5 70/5 70/5

COMMENT: Solar activity was very low over the UT day 03 November.
There is currently one simple stable sunspot, AR 2751(N05W26)
on the visible disk. Very low solar activity is expected for
the next three UT days 04-06 November. No Earth-directed CMEs
were observed in the available coronagraph imagery. During UT
day 03 November, the solar wind speed was at its background levels,
under 340 km/s. The total IMF (Bt) varied between 2 nT and 6
nT. The north-south component of IMF, Bz, varied between +5 nT
and -2 nT, mainly positive. The solar wind speed is expected
to be mainly at background to slightly enhanced levels for the
next three UT days, 04-06 November due to weak coronal hole effects.

      Casey 5 33210001
      Mawson 6 32100004

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 03 Nov :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)

      Canberra 0 (Quiet)
      Melbourne NA

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.

Estimated AFr/Ap Indices 03 Nov : A
           Fredericksburg 5
           Planetary 5

Observed AFr/Ap Indices 02 Nov : A K
           Fredericksburg 1
           Planetary 1 0000 0001

2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
04 Nov 5 Quiet
05 Nov 10 Quiet to Unsettled
06 Nov 10 Quiet to Unsettled

COMMENT: The geomagnetic activity for the Australian was at Quiet
level on UT day 03 November. In the Antarctic regions, the geomagnetic
activity was mostly at Quiet to Unsettled levels. Global geomagnetic
activity is expected to be mostly at Quiet levels for the next
three UT days 04-06 November with possible Unsettled periods
due to weak coronal hole effects.
