COMMENT: Solar activity has been low with several C class flares,
the greatest being a C8.8 from region 2035(S13W71) at 1137 UT.
The solar wind speed gradually decreased from 500 to 450 km/s
during the UT day today and the Bz component of IMF stayed mostly
positive upto 5nT during this time. Further gradual weakening
in solar wind stream is expected over the next 24 hours. Low
levels of solar activity with a slight chance of isolated M-flare
may be expected over the next three days.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 22 Apr :
      Darwin 21 (Quiet to unsettled)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)

      Canberra 46 (Unsettled)

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.
