FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE
SUMMARY FOR 03 NOVEMBER AND FORECAST FOR 04 NOVEMBER - 06 NOVEMBER
STATUS INDICATORS SOL:GREEN MAG:GREEN ION: ** YELLOW **
-----------------------------------------------------------
1A. SOLAR SUMMARY
Activity 03 Nov: Very low

Flares: none.

Observed 10.7 cm flux/Equivalent Sunspot Number for 03 Nov: 93/38

1B. SOLAR FORECAST
             04 Nov 05 Nov 06 Nov
Activity Very Low Very Low Very Low
Fadeouts None expected None expected None expected
10.7cm/SSN 95/41 95/41 100/48

COMMENT: B-class flare activity was observed during 3 November.
Analysis of SOHO and STEREO satellite imagery suggests that recent
CME activity is not earth directed and is not expected to be
geoeffective. The IMF Bz fluctuated between +5 and -5 nT during
3 November with solar wind speeds increasing slightly and presently
around 350 km/s. Solar wind parameters are expected to be predominantly
low values for the next few days. Solar activity is expected
to remain mostly Very Low to Low for the next few days.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 03 Nov :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)

      Canberra 0 (Quiet)

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.

06 Nov Normal Normal Normal

COMMENT: Mildly degraded conditions were observed at times during
3 November, particularly for low-equatorial latitudes. Mildly
