COMMENT: The solar disk is spotless. Solar wind parameters are
elevated due to a recurrent coronal hole wind stream.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 18 Aug :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)
      Townsville 4 (Quiet)
      Learmonth 4 (Quiet)

      Hobart 51 (Unsettled)
Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and Space Environment Research Center, Japan.

2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
19 Aug 15 Unsettled to Active
20 Aug 10 Quiet to Unsettled
21 Aug 6 Quiet
COMMENT: IPS Geomagnetic Warning 11 was issued on 16 August and
is current for interval 18-20 August. Geomagnetic conditions
were quiet until onset of the anticipated coronal hole wind stream
during the mid-part of the UT day. An interval of active to minor
storm conditions was observed at all latitudes, declining to
unsettled conditions at low to mid latitudes. Minor storm conditions
prevailed at high latitudes. Expect unsettled conditions next
two days with the chance of isolated active to minor storm intervals.
