COMMENT: Solar activity remained low over the past 24 hours.
Solar wind speed continued to decline slowly over the UT day.
A recurrent coronal hole is expected to rotate into geoeffective
position on day two.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 25 Aug :
      Charters_Towers 0 (Quiet)
      Learmonth 0 (Quiet)
      Culgoora 6 (Quiet)
      Hobart 6 (Quiet)
Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3 indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3 indices for that station.

Estimated AFr/Ap Indices 25 Aug : A
           Fredericksburg 5
           Planetary 5

Observed AFr/Ap Indices 24 Aug : A K
           Fredericksburg 4
           Planetary 5 3101 1112

2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
26 Aug 5 Quiet
27 Aug 16 Active
28 Aug 12 Unsettled
COMMENT: Solar wind speed continues to decline slowly. The Bz
component of the IMF remained mostly neutral over the UT day.
The geomagnetic field was quiet at all latitudes and should maintain
quiet conditions on day one. A recurrent coronal hole wind stream
is anticipated on days two and three with the chance of active
periods.

3A. GLOBAL HF PROPAGATION SUMMARY
	            Latitude Band
Date Low Middle High
25 Aug Fair-normal Normal Normal
PCA Event : No event.

3B. GLOBAL HF PROPAGATION FORECAST
	            Latitude Band
Date Low Middle High
26 Aug Normal Normal Normal
27 Aug Normal Normal-Fair Fair
28 Aug Normal Normal Normal-Fair
COMMENT: Daytime/evening depressions observed at low latitudes.
Expect mostly normal HF conditions on day one. Chance of disturbed
periods at mid to high latitudes days two and three due to anticipated
elevated geomagnetic activity.
