2. FORECAST (13 MARCH - 19 MARCH)
Solar:
R0 conditions are expected throughout 13-19 Mar, with a chance of
R1 conditions. No previously flare-active regions are expected to
return to the front side of the solar disk over the next week.
Geomagnetic:
G1 geomagnetic conditions, with a chance of G2, are expected on
14-Mar due to a recurrent transequatorial coronal hole high-speed
wind stream. G0-G1 conditions are expected on 15-Mar due to ongoing
high-speed wind stream effects. G0, with a slight chance of G1, is
forecast for 19-Mar due to a potentially returning coronal hole. G0
conditions are expected on all other days.
Frequencies:
Maximum Usable Frequencies (MUFs) are expected to become depressed
after local dawn on 14-Mar, and remain depressed on 14-15 Mar due
to the forecast geomagnetic activity. MUFs may become slightly
depressed late on 19-Mar. MUFs are expected to remain near
predicted monthly values on other days.
