2. FORECAST (26 JUNE - 02 JULY)
Solar:
Mostly R0-R1, although chance for R2 activity due to active region
(AR) 4478. Despite not yet producing any activity, this region
has high potential to do so.
Geomagnetic:
G0-G1 over 26-27 Jun due to coronal hole activity. This
will degrade to G0, chance of G1 afterwards as there is a weak coronal
hole feature following the current one that is contributing to geomagnetic
activity.
Frequencies:
Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian region are likely to be near
predicted monthly values over 26-27 Jun, with possible depressions up to 15%
over 28-29 Jun.
Brief depressions during local night hours expected on days afterwards, however
not
expected to be sustained or beyond 15%.
