2. FORECAST (17 JULY - 23 JULY)
Solar: Solar flare activity is expected to rise from R0 conditions
early in the week to R1 levels at the end of the week as several
far side regions, visible in Solar Orbiter, rotate onto the front
side of the disk by the end of the forecast period.
Geomagnetic:
G0 conditions are expected across the entire week 17-23 Jul, with
a chance of G1 on 22-23 Jul due to a recurrent coronal hole high
speed wind stream.
Frequencies:
Maximum Usable Frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian region are
expected to be near predicted values across the entire forecast
week 17-23 Jul, with some depressions possible during local night
hours. Mild depressions of 10% are possible on 23-Jul due to
coronal hole high speed wind stream effects, Shortwave fadeouts
are possible in the second half of the week.
