2. FORECAST (31 JANUARY - 06 FEBRUARY)
Solar:
R0-R1, with a chance of isolated R2 flares later in the week.
There are three solar regions in the northeast solar quadrant
that are currently slowly growing. Flare activity may increase
in coming days if these regions continue to develop.
Geomagnetic:
G0-G1 from late on 31 Jan to 02 Feb due to coronal
hole streams and a possible glancing blow CME arrival
late on 01-Feb from a recent solar filament eruption.
Frequencies:
Southern Australian region MUFs may be briefly depressed
after local dawn on 01-02 Feb due to expected induced
geomagnetic activity from solar coronal hole wind streams.
MUFs are expected to be near predicted monthly values to 15%
enhanced on other days. Northern Australian regional MUFs are
expected to remain near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced.
Isolated fadeouts possible.
