2. FORECAST (19 DECEMBER - 25 DECEMBER)
Solar: Moderate. Recent activity beyond East limb indicative
of approaching flare-potential regions.
Geomagnetic: Unsettled to active after 19 Dec due to anticipated
coronal hole wind stream. Gradual decline in activity
after 22 Dec. Storm periods probable at high latitudes
20-22 Dec.
Frequencies: Depressed 15 to 20% on 20-Dec, depressed 15% briefly
after local dawn on 21-22 Dec, otherwise MUFs near normal.
SWFs possible throughout week.
PLEASE NOTE:
At this time of the solar cycle, space weather conditions
are frequently determined by short timescale events, not
able to be forecasted a week in advance.
