2. FORECAST (10 SEPTEMBER - 16 SEPTEMBER)
MUFS: MUFs are expected to be near predicted monthly values,
however depressions of up to 15% are possible from 10-12 Sep
due to expected geomagnetic activity from a recurrent
southern hemisphere coronal hole. A further reduction of 15%
is possible 15-16 Sep due to a different recurrent coronal hole
moving into a geoeffective position.
Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
Propagation conditions: HF propagation conditions are expected
to be mostly normal this week. Spread F is possible in southern
Australian regions during local night hours. Shortwave fadeouts
are possible.
T index: 92
3. OUTLOOK (17 SEPTEMBER - 17 OCTOBER)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
02-05 Oct.
PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
