Predicted Monthly T index for December: 89

2. FORECAST (03 DECEMBER - 09 DECEMBER)

Maximum Usable Frequencies (MUF) are expected to be up to 15% enhanced on the
03-Dec. MUFs are expected to be near predicted monthly values over 04-06 Dec,
due to geomagnetic disturbances generated by a Coronal Hole High Speed Wind
Stream (CHSS).
MUFs are expected to return to near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced
from the 06-09 Dec, as CHSS effects abate.

Propagation conditions:

HF conditions are expected to normal on the 03-Dec. Normal-fair
conditions are expected in high latitude regions on the 04-Dec.
Normal-fair conditions are expected on the 05-Dec. As effects from the CHSS
subside, conditions will return to normal from the 06-09 Dec. SWFs are probable
over the period.

T index: 89
ASWFC SWF HF Communications Warning 114 was issued on 2 December
and is current for 2-4 Dec.

3. OUTLOOK (10 DECEMBER - 09 JANUARY)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
22-27 Dec, 31 Dec to 02 Jan

PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
