2. FORECAST (13 MARCH - 19 MARCH)
MUFS: briefly depressed after local dawn on 15-Mar
for the southern Australian region due to an expected
mild increase in geomagnetic activity on 14-Mar. MUFs
are expected to be near predicted monthly values on other days.
Propagation conditions: Fair on 14-15 Mar. Otherwise normal.
SWFs are more likely from mid week as a previously flare
active solar region is due back to the north east solar limb on
16-Mar.
T index: 110
ASWFC SWF HF Communications Warning 26 was issued on 11 March
and is current for 11-13 Mar.
3. OUTLOOK (20 MARCH - 19 APRIL)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
No significant degraded periods expected.
PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
