02/2327 On UT day 03-Apr solar flare activity is expected to be R0-R1.
S0 solar radiation storm conditions are expected, though the solar
proton flux is currently mildly enhanced at 4PFU. The Earth has
entered a coronal hole wind stream earlier than expected with the
solar wind speed increasing to very strong. Planetary G3 conditions
were observed overnight. HF radio propagation conditions are expected
to be poor to normal. Maximum usable frequencies in the Southern
Australian region are expected to be depressed by up to 30%. Northern
Australian region MUFs are expected to be near predicted monthly
values. Isolated minor fadeouts are possible.
